Missing persons are a common feat in America, but,  some go cold after decades of being missing.  The case of Alyne Barrick, is, indeed no different.  Barrick,  disappeared 22 years ago today from her rural neighborhood  where she lived in a cozy cabin in Kentucky.

Dateline has more on the interesting case, in which, traces back to 1996  when she took her dog Fifi   for a walk around 2:30 pm. That day, like any other, had  began like a normal day for  Barrick.

This is where it gets murky.   On that same night,   Barrick returned home after her usual morning routine to begin her evening routine. There,  she would then reportedly light her usual  cigg;  hang out at home, and begin getting ready for bed. “Only part of her dentures were in the cup, the others were missing”   police told Dateline NBC.

“We haven’t had enough evidence or leads to make a true suspect, or get enough to charge somebody,” Det. Lanham said. “As time goes by, you have fewer and fewer people who know her or remember what happened.”

If you have any information, please contact the Kentucky State Police department at (270) 782-2010.
