A few years ago, The Daily News was the first to reveal  the cause of Prince ‘s death when he overdosed on unauthorized and illegal drugs. Now,    authorities say that no charges will be brought against the Minnesota doctor that illegally gave Prince the drugs when he was found dead in his Paisley Park estate.

“There is no reliable evidence showing how Prince obtained the counterfeit Vicodin containing fentaynl,” said Carver County Attorney Mark Metz, per the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
