The story of Tom Petty’s death has now come to a sudden close. On Friday, the family of Tom Petty announced how the singer actually died. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed in their final findings that Petty died of a mixture of drugs, which means, he would have died from a drug overdose.
Per reports, he died with fentanyl and oxycodone in his system at the time of his death. His family reportedly received the results earlier in the day.
