An urgent message to our younger readers about Tide Pods

For all that is holy on this earth, for some reason, people are  at it again on the internet. This week, Tide Pods, (yes, the laundry detergent folks)  found itself having to  wonder why teenagers are consuming  their laundry packs. 

This article was granted publication at the request of  Poison Control and the New York City Department of Health and Safety.  

This is not a joke, apparently, teenagers out there are actually doing this in the name of weird and highly dangerous Youtube jokes.  

This is not a drill. This is NOT safe kids.  I repeat, THIS IS NOT SAFE NOR IS IT FUNNY. PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE OF THIS. 

If you or someone you know has consumed a Tide Pod, please, inform your parents immediately so Poison Control can be called.
