MOBILE, ALABAMA — Good news for Alabamians and those watching Alabamians: they’re not as bat shit crazy as the media would like you to think they are (or Republicans for that matter). Last night, Doug Jones won the historic Senate election in Alabama, once a historically red state. A red-state that in fact hadn’t had a Democratic Senator since at least 1992.
The AP describes the defeat as a “stinging defeat” for Trump, who, both backed Luther Strange and now Roy Moore and both candidates eventually lost.
