BELGIUM — Interesting developments in Spain’s abuse of power saga against those in Catalonia. According to Belgian authorities, Carles Puigdemont and 4 other staff members turned themselves in on Sunday. Belgian authorities are due to make a statement sometime in the next 24 hours. The same judge that issued the original warrant also resulted in 8 more arrests for other staff members, who, are being held without bail.
The news comes after Spain imposed direct and total rule over Catalonia.
