Thanks to Maine’s Senator Collins. After more than a week of debates, Collins, has joined a group of other Republicans bringing the total “No Votes” to more than 3 GOP Senators. The same number of Senators that Democrats knew would be needed to absolutely kill the bill all together. That  bill, for those that don’t know, was called the Graham-Cassidy Bill.
Collins noted in her reasoning for declining the bill that “this would cause devastating consequences and cuts for the Medicaid program” Â specifically for those who are poor or may have pre-existing conditions.
Despite the fact, she, did admit to receiving a phone call from President Trump who personally was trying to politically pimp the bill.
