CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — The Justice Department has confirmed that a  federal civil rights investigation has been opened into the deadly white-nationalist protests that brought Charlottesville nearly to its knees.
According to the feds, Â a civil rights investigation was opened after more than a dozen people were injured and at least two died. On Friday night, Â the latest number of those injured had reached at least 20.
Meanwhile, nationalists are defending their protests as “civil and legal” Â all the while blaming police for their failure to maintain the chaos. Â In other news, David Duke says that these protests “are meant to drive Donald Trump ‘s promises to become reality”.
