Guy who stopped global cyberattack arrested by US authorities

The boy behind stopping the massive cyberattack that crippled computers around the world, uh, has been arrested by the Americans. According to authorities,  Marcus Hutchins, was arrested for apparently going to a previous security conference in the United States. Police say he is also accused of creating a banking-style malware using Kronos between 2014 and 2015.

Hutchins, was arrested by Las Vegas authorities on Wednesday on apparent (unconfirmed) federal charges.   Authorities did say that Hutchins is “unrelated to the Wannacry malware that nearly brought the world’s computer(s) systems to its knees.
