In what may serve as a stark reminder not to go anywhere near a deer, scientists, have discovered something (and a rare first) grisly in terms of the animal. Â According to reports, scientists apparently placed a human carcass in the woods. What they would later find on their cameras, uh, has even scientists fumbling for words.
The research project, per The National Geographic, took place at a Forensic facility in San Marcos Texas. A location perhaps best known as an actual “body farm”. Â Scientists say that deers have never been know to feast on human remains before, and, the marks they leave behind are “rather distinct compared to other animals”.
