While little details were actually released about the visit, what is known, is very little. Originally reported by a New York Times journalist, Kushner, is in Iraq this week as a Middle Eastern peace convoy.
According to the journalist and numerous reports, Kushner, is traveling with the joint chief of staffs who is also on a similar peace mission in the region amid gains by the American military. WH officials refused to disclose information any further than what is already known: that he “wanted to see Iraq” so there’s that.
