At least according to new worries following a memo released by reporters from The Washington Post. According to the memo, Trump’s transition team has reportedly asked for information on all gender equality programs in Washington.
The programs are collectively part of Hillary Clinton’s own legacy as Secretary of State. But some are worried that Trump’s latest move may be a bid to quash the programs all together. Some have even expressed concern that the request for information may be an attempt to weed out LGBT groups and the like in the process.
Trump’s transition team refused to comment on why the information is sought. State Department officials confirmed that they indeed turned over the information.
