What we jokingly call our “Social media police” appear to have found something rather interesting in the midst of a funny but not so funny hashtag currently trending on Twitter.
The hash tag apparently is now people telling of very real lies they’ve told on their resume. We may be the first actual real employer to spot some of our own employees taking part in the hash tag, and now, those four employees are without a job.
The Daily News has a strict adherence to our honest policy, some of which, includes what we’re told on YOUR resume. Learning that some of our top employees lied their way into the office, became, almost instantly, grounds for dismissal.
