SANTIAGO, CUBA — Just a few short hours ago, revolutionary Cuban leader Fidel Castro was officially interred just days after his sudden death. Cuban officials ordered his funeral closed to international media, presumably, over the controversy surrounding the future of Cuban-American relations.
Very little is known about Castro’s since turned private funeral. Thousands lined the streets in support of Castro shouting “Long Live Castro” before he was formally taken away around 6:39 am local time.
