LONDON — Breaking nearly every possible diplomatic protocol, Donald Trump, took to Twitter yesterday to reveal that he wanted Nigel Farage to become the ambassador to the United States.
Yes, Farage, the same awfully annoying goon responsible in part for the Brexit vote. Farage, belongs wholly to the uk Independence Party, which puts conservative party leader and Prime Minister Theresa May in an odd spot.
British officials declined the request citing that “Foreign presidents cannot choose our diplomats”.
