After 14 years, Gawker to go offline indefinitely

imageAfter fourteen long years, one of the worlds biggest gossip sites is about to go offline indefinitely. According to reports, Univision purchased Gawker for $135m at a bankruptcy auction last week, but, that sale didn’t mean the troubled gossip site would be able to stay online.

The six other Gawker owned sites like Jezebel and the numerous others will remain online. Univision. Confirmed that Gawker employees will be placed elsewhere.
