NEW YORK — Wendy’s officials confirmed Friday morning that the massive American food chain has been hit by a big time credit card hack. Officials say that beginning last fall, the chain, suffered a credit card hack that they thought originally only hit about 300 stores — except — it more than 1,025 stores all of which were privately owned.
Wendy’s is now offering 1 year of free credit monitoring support, and, has since launched a website to help customers see if their local stores were among those hit. Visit, here.
