MINNESOTA — Shocking news in the world of music today. Police in Minnesota have confirmed that the body of legendary singer Prince Rogers Nixon was found at his Minnesota compound Thursday morning.
The singer was 57.
A confirmation also comes from the singers publicist who confirmed the death following news of a body discovery at Prince’s compound. Circumstances surrounding his death are unknown and currently under investigation.
“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57,” said his publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.
