LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA — Daily News Online has confirmed that following our report that an investigation into Lauderhill ‘s Inverrary Vacation Resort and its on site restaurant — the restaurant was closed for three business days this week after rat droppings were reportedly found in the kitchen.
The confirmation comes just less than two weeks after an undercover Daily News reporter stayed at the hotel investigating claims of cockroaches and rats in the building. After numerous discussions and reports with the Department of Health and its partner organizations — health officials reportedly cited the hotel with numerous violations and eventually ordered the restaurant closed for three days.
